With Penny Reid’s brilliant sense of irony and flamboyant characters combined with LH Cosway’s insurmountable skill with the pen and humor, this collaboration was doomed to flourish from the beginning…and it has!

My Thoughts:

I was so excited, not only to learn that LH Cosway and Penny Reid had teamed up (again!), but that I would be receiving their book! And participating in their blog tour (major fangirling!) That happened awhile back, and you can find it here.

The blog tour was major fun, not only to be a participant, but to see everyone else’s posts as well!

I don’t really know what to say about this book that hasn’t been said before! I found it absolutely amazing and would gladly reread it again! In fact, I’m looking up the paperback now… $13.07 isn’t bad, right?

But no, I promised myself that I wouldn’t reread it again until I a) had it in paperback and b) read The Hooker and the Hermit first– in paperback. You can do it. Yes you can.

Anyway, I really enjoyed The Player and the Pixie. I found the Pixie to be absolutely obnoxious in the best way… I absolutely loved her… and for the Player to be quite funny! Woulda thunk that such a Player would be bad in bed! Good thing the Pixie’s willing to fix it… and he’s quite the attentive student, isn’t he? And a quick study, at that!

Going in, I wasn’t quite sure where this book would land. I found the Player to be a major dick head, asshole, and all the above; and I wasn’t quite sure what to make of the Pixie. But I soon fell in love with the two of them and, especially, the two of them together!

I highly recommend this absolutely successful duo and their respective books :DD
