Teaming up with Sam to find the stolen paintings ignites feelings that could lead to lasting love. But Sam isn’t ready to move beyond the tragedy in his past, no matter how promising his future with Chelsea could be…

I enjoy everything Kate James writes, and A Priceless Find is no exception. Her poised writing style is the perfect courier for the sweet romances she writes, and the genuine-ness of her characters helps them instantly feel like friends.
A Priceless Find is a sequel of sorts to an earlier novel by James – A Child’s Christmas – which pictures the most absolutely adorable little boy on the cover! In this latest novel, we return to Camden Falls and catch up with Paige and Jason and Daniel by way of their friend Chelsea Owens.
Chelsea is a delightful heroine – passionate about art & about her job as curator-in-training at a local gallery. Enter Detective Sam Eldridge, whom she first meets after barreling into his crime scene. He really should have taken that as a sign for how their relationship – and his crime scenes – were going to play out haha! I really enjoyed their interactions and the sparks from their attraction.
The suspense subplot advances their relationship nicely and is itself well-plotted. I thought I had one part of it figured out early on but what I couldn’t determine was how it fit with everything else. All in all, it turned out about like I thought it would, but the pieces came together so surprisingly that I stayed fully engaged throughout!
Bottom Line: Once again, Kate James has written a novel that warms your heart and makes you smile. It’s sweet, suspenseful and romantic, and the characters are delightfully genuine. Camden Falls feels like a place any of us could call home, except perhaps for the recent crime spree A Priceless Find is a great read from start to finish!
